We went to the Kaiserslautern Zoo...

And felt really bad for the animals... the tiger was all matted and paced around his tiny enclosure, the lion sat and made a sad howl/ growl the whole time... and the goats just wanted to be loved on.

Here are some pictures of our trip.

We are back in America in 16 DAYS!!!

YAY!!! We get to Washington on the 20th and stay until the 26th, then we head to Missouri until the 6th ... and back to Washington until the 13th. YAY for America... any break from Germany is much appreciated.
I am however quite sad that I'm missing some very important events... Here is my list thus far:
*Puyallup Spring fair (I miss it by a couple days)
*Opening baseball games
*Tacoma Rainiers opening celebration
*BRET MICHAELS IN CONCERT!!
I guess that's it for now... I'm sure there are more that I can't think of currently..
BUT I do get to visit my brother... and Texas... So I can't complain too much.

I get to visit Top Foods!!

And put my feet in American WATER!!
And look at pretty mountains!!
AND... See my brothers!!

2 months!

Here are some pics... Lilly is 2 months old now and a super happy baby. She laughs at anything from the ceiling fans... to her little friends on her mobile. She also finds it enjoyable to eat her teddy bear, her blankets and to stick her tongue out ( I have NO idea where she learned that :) ) Oh yeah.. she loves swimming and bath time :)

Lilly is here!!

Lilly arrived on November 26th at 3:58 in the afternoon. When I got to the hospital at 11:30 I was 3.5 cm dialated and after walking around for a while I got to a 4. The midwife was debating on sending me home or not and finally decided to admit me. After telling me to breathe through my horribly painful contractions for two hours without checking for progress they finally gave me a i.v. drug to "take the edge off" which only lasted about 30 minutes. The midwife decided she would check me again after I got the epidural, thinking I hadnt progressed that far at all. By the time I got the epidural and was checked.. I was already an 8 and about 10 minutes later I had to push her out without the epi actually taking effect. I was however numb when they stiched me up and numb for a good 4 hours after the actual birth. We are stuck in the hospital for Thanksgiving and the following day.. I guess we wont get to go out and shop the Friday sales!

Anyway. Lilly was 6 pounds and 6 oz. and 19 and a half inces long. Tiny little girl with lots of dark hair just like Mommy had.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
